The Anam Appoints Key Management Positions and Announces Opening Date of The Anam Mui Ne

We are excited to be able to share with you some important updates about The Anam. First, we like to introduce you to Mr. Laurent Myter as our new Group General Manager who joined The Anam Group on 1 May 2022.

Laurent has diligently worked up the ranks in luxury resorts within Europe, Middle East and Southeast Asia before joining YTL Hotels as General Manager at Tanjong Jara Resort and Pangkor Laut Resort, the award-winning flagship resort on a privately-owned island in Malaysia. His achievements and successes as a hotelier was recognized with a move to the corporate office in the capacity of Vice President and promoted thereafter to Executive Vice President.

In 2017 Laurent was also appointed as a member to the International Advisory Board of Hoteliers of Small Luxury Hotels of the World Holdings LLP for a six years term representing the Asia/Pacific Region including 3 years as Executive Board member and the past two years as President of the International Advisory Board of Hoteliers of Small Luxury Hotels of the World.

Laurent is tasked to guide and implement the future development of The Anam Group, including the opening of our new 5-star luxury hotel in Mui Ne by end of this year and two further luxury properties currently in the development pipeline.

Secondly, as of 1 August 2022, Mr. Martin Koerner has been appointed as our Group Commercial Director. Martin has worked for The Anam from 2016 to 2020 being in charge of our sales and marketing efforts. With Martin being back, we are now revamping our commercial structure with new appointments being announced soon. Ms Mandy Tran, Director of Sales & Marketing, will move on to take on other challenges in the hospitality industry.

Thirdly, the construction and fit out of The Anam Mui Ne is almost completed. We will open our doors for the first paying guests from 1 November 2022. The Grand Opening is scheduled to be on the 10 January 2023. The Anam Mui Ne will boast 127 rooms and suites and is located on Mui Ne’s famous resort beach. Its design was inspired by Vietnam’s bygone Indochine era. If you would like to learn more, please follow the below link for further information.
